Inside Room of Curiosities: A Library of Fragments, and Stories of Our Nearly Two Decades Journey

For nearly two decades, we have evolved through personal journeys, influences, experiments, and questions that continue to shape our design philosophy. Room of Curiosities gathers these traces into a single space, a library of ideas and fragments that reflect how we think, work, and grow.
Inspired by the idea of a “cabinet of curiosities,” once a room where collectors gathered objects of wonder to study and reflect upon, this space also brings together fragments from our journey. Books, sketches, mock-ups, and found objects sit side by side, revealing traces of our thoughts and experiments over the years. Yet what fills the room goes beyond design, it extends to the philosophies we hold and the questions that push us to explore further. In many ways, it makes visible the inner workings that we usually keep to ourselves.

For us, design has never been a straight line, it moves through detours and discoveries, through doubts as much as beliefs. And maybe that’s why, at some point, we realized the importance of having a space like this–a room of curiosity–where we can pause, observe, and rediscover traces of where we’ve been, and remember why we keep creating.
The exhibition also features the debut of Kelana, a sculptural modular sofa that continues our mission to redefine the perception of rattan furniture — a future for mass production that still involves hands and natural materials. The design of the sofa merges local sustainable materials, craft heritage, and international aesthetic, while also highlighting the material’s key feature, which is its flexibility.
